Day 2 after surgery and everything hurts worse than before. My throat in particular is very sore from the breathing tube (looking at it with a flashlight shows lots of redness and abrasions). The glue covering the wounds is starting to peel up, and I'm ripping off the peeled parts so they don't catch on my clothes. The areas that were under the glue are red and itchy, and the cuts are sore to the touch. I took the pain meds today for my throat because it hurts more than the cuts. Hello all! I survived my surgery without any complications (so far). I am now down 2 fallopian tubes. Another step to help me not get pregnant (no method, including this one is 100%). Insurance still wants me to pay 2k+ and the anesthesia bill on top of that, even though according to the ACA all insurance has to cover one form of sterilization, so once I get the bills I'll be appealing them. I appreciate y'all still being here, as I'm unable to do my other forms of income for 4 weeks. I can't do any heavy lifting for 4 weeks, so you'll have to lift this ass 😘. I am supposed to walk around and remain mobile, while also doing breathing exercises to help prevent pneumonia (the device). Today is the day after the surgery so everything's starting to hurt. The incisions are sore, but my shoulders have stopped hurting (from the excess gas). I thankfully have no abdominal pain, so sitting up isn't painful, only if I bend my incisions does it really hurt. I'm on a prescription Advil and Tylenol rotation at the moment. Most people heal in 3-5 days, so I'm hoping I'm on the sooner end of that. Don't worry! I'm not forgetting about y'all. There will be some boobie pics in the next day or so! I just can't do the below the belt photos cause I currently need a pad (first time in 15 years!).
