even a week later I’m still struggling to fully assimilate and put into words the experience that Mexico was, especially Teques: a beautiful lake surrounded by beautiful houses and presenting a lifestyle I got to taste for the first time. so long story short, was meant to depart at 9:30 am and fly via Dallas, reach my destination just before 6 PM, but due to a technical issue we all deplaned which meant I lost my connection. I got rerouted via Miami, and was assured both at La Guardia, as well as at Miami Airport that my bag (which got complimentary checked-in before the whole thing unravelled) is making its way with me. Turns out that as I had assumed, my bag headed to Dallas as originally intended so after finally landing at the intended airport close to 11PM, I had to check myself into a hotel near the airport rather than travel to my final destination and hopefully try to find it tomorrow 🥲 Didn’t help that I decided taking a lil bit of rainbow before the trip will make the journey more fascinating 🌈 and I mean, it did, but certainly not in the way it was intended 😅

the flat is now all packed and I’m just waiting on the storage people to come and collect it, feels so weird sitting between boxes that used to make up my *home*, because *home* is really more than just the walls and the ceiling, and realising how something that took months to develop can cease to exist so quickly - in 10 productive hours to be precise. still counting my blessings and thinking of all the people around the world who have to leave home behind due to way more horrible reasons. i of course managed to squeeze in one last photo collection for you, which I will get to posting as soon as I get the final bits out of the way - amongst which, the most difficult one: saying goodbye to my green family 🪴🥺 this shoot is an ode to them and a farewell to this beautiful space that has made me so happy!

Good morning, Good afternoon, Good evening 😘 **Quick life update:** ✨ My course is progressing well, we’ve finished the SQL foundation now and are on to Python next 🐍😁 it’s challenging, but interesting, and I love the feeling of learning again 🤓 It’s tough having all my evening occupied by this, as the lessons are from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM, Monday to Thursday - but I am committed and want to put all my effort in to reap the full benefit of doing it 😌 ✨ I took my first sick day on Monday and it was the best day ever, I should have taken a mental health day sooner and maybe my mental health would’ve been better 😂 who knew it can be this straightforward 😅 I got my nails done and then spent some time studying from a café. The course is quite fast paced and requires independent study, so it’s easy to fall behind especially as I’m quite busy with handover at work 😪 ✨ Following up from above, and saving the best for the last 🍰 FRIDAY IS MY LAST DAY IN FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT 🎉 My plan for the next months is to not worry about the absence of a plan 😁 I will try to take everything as it comes, try to see the value in every situation and just enjoy being alive for a while, with no set responsibilities or expectations 😌 except kicking ass in my studies 💪🏼 I am fully aware of what a privilege it is to afford this time off and I’m immensely grateful to my family and to you for supporting and enabling it 🥺 I am determined to make it count, and although I don’t have a set in stone plan - I am working on a little structure, a guiding skeleton of sorts ☠️ I’ll share that with you soon 😘 P.S. Despite the madness, and the fact that zero packing has been done, I’ve somehow managed to find the time to shoot a couple of ultra mega fun ass centric customs today 🍑🥵
