I was disappointed not to get the dam on kate here but the depth of her molars on the buccal side were so shallow I couldn’t secure the clamp around the tooth without it being uncomfortable for the patient. It would have been ok if numbing was used but the cavity was so so shallow it hardly needed drilling never mind anaesthetic.

Amy had her real dental appointment yesterday. The dentist said everything looks fine and even noted her partially erupted wisdom tooth. He did not mention the fact that the very wisdom tooth he noted was partially erupted is suffering from decay and has a chance of making the tooth it’s leaning on also decay. He also didn’t note anything about her lower left molar having potential cavity. I’ve suggested she changes dentist to someone who is more thorough or who actually cares about her dental health. Next checkup is 6 months time.

Amy’s dental exam and soft tissue massage. She really enjoyed this and found it therapeutic and relaxing. It was also a fun little video to film and something different.
