But for the most part all religious have the same story. Just like it's being retold over and over. The first "religion" was from Sumeria with the Anunnaki. From those stories, it's told that the Anunnaki came to earth in search of gold to fix their planet. They saw early humans and modified us for the purpose of mining gold for them. The only reason i can think of that you would need large amounts of gold to fix a planet is nuclear war. Nuclear weapons are a devastating weapon (even on an intergalactic scale) and it would make sense other civilizations have developed that technology. If humans had a WWIII and glassed the entire planet, the biggest problem isn't going to be the radiation, but the ionization of the atmosphere. Ionized atmosphere means, the air isn't breathable but most importantly.... electronics wont work. Now what single element can you use to deionize something? Fun fact, its gold. So i personally believe that the Anunnaki came here to find gold to fix their planet. That explains why something like 90% of the gold earth is supposed to have is missing. Also explains why the Sumerians knew about Sirius B 7000 years before modern science discovered it. Plus if i go to another planet and there's a civilization there, how df do space travel to people who haven't even invented the wheel? Well religious text are a good way to start? Example: And man was created from the dust of the earth = Atoms. Cause how else am i gonna explain Atoms. I can talk about Quarks (things that make protons and neutrons) and most people will have no idea what im talking about. How can i expect an ancient culture too? Edit: not hating on religion. Please believe what you like. Just explaining why i don't do religion. I will still use god talk to cheer people up. Just hearing the words "God loves you" doesn't mean anything to me. 100% understand it helps a lot of people and will continue to do my best to comfort everyone
