It's been really overwhelming and unfortunately people are impatient and rather than tipping to bump their message up or joining VIP like I suggest frequently, they get frustrated for the wait. I was gonna work on messages today, but the first one I opened was harassment and berating me (from someone who has never messaged me before and has been subscribed for over 2 months 😒) so for my own mental wellbeing, I will not be. The 99.9% of you who are so sweet and loving are who matters- but it does get tiring seeing negativity, especially lazy and boring negativity all based around my fat body. Guess what?! It was my turn to get my hair done on Sunday!!! (Vips saw it first yesterday! Among other things...jussayin!) This was a long project- I really only have time to do my own hair (balayage/lightening) once or twice a year and then just keep fun colors over it or sometimes let it fade back to blonde. It has been about 7 months since I did any lightening, so my salon owner babylighted and balayaged the shit out of my hair to make sure I can go another year! I did all the vivids, and then my salon owner and another coworker put in that row of extensions! This is an amazing way to do something super fun with your color and not have to worry about it being your own hair! Extensions aren't just for adding length! So fun, right?!

The amount of fall hair coming in is *chefs kiss*. So many folks ready to add richness and more dimension back into their hair! This babe was fully blonde on the bottom, we added some lowlights and brought her balayage up around her face and then toned her down all over to a nice light brown with copper tones. So beautiful!

Would you believe the last 2 times I did her color we've only put SEVEN foils in?? You can get so much perfect dimension with little time and product if you know how to place the foils right! Finished off with a nice icy tone to get her through the beginning of fall, next time we might so something more strawberry blonde 👀👀 super excited for that!

Enter the Cezanne Karatin Treatment! Reduces frizz, reduces but doesn't remove natural texture, and keeps ends healthy and strong! This is her 3rd or 4th treatment and her hair has NEVER been healthier. She's always taken really good care of her hair, but there was always still a bit of stress on the ends. Now we get none! It's amazing. I like to explain this as a lamination process- laminated paper is less susceptible to damage, rips, breaks, even sun bleaching! Same as with this product. No harmful fumes of formaldehyde or formaldehyde derivatives makes this a super safe keratin treatment and the results are amazing. She can still wear her hair natural and embrace her curl when she wants to which I love, and when she wants to smooth it it is exponentially easier and quicker! Win win win!

Plus size lingerie is not cheap ya'll. Each outfit I'm wearing in these photos cost at least $100 with accessories. Unfortunately, sites like Shein that offer inexpensive lingerie are super hit or miss and a lot of times the items are super flimsy (when they actually even fit 😑) and something I only feel comfortable shooting in at home where I can see exactly where things are laying as I shoot.. when someone else takes my photos I want to feel secure in what I'm wearing. Before -------> After! First step, I did a subtle balayage. Next, I added some warm pigment back where the old overprocessed piece of blonde she had was, while also bringing up a few highlights and adding a few lowlights to meld that harsh outgrowth with the soft balayage everywhere else. After it was lifted, we glazed her all over with a fall toned copper brown! It looks so much shinier with way more dimension! I'm staying with a friend tonight and tomorrow night, so I will be a bit sparse on here but of course I will be on to check tipped messages frequently! Pink (which is just diluted red/red mixed with white) put over the teal creates purple, and the rest was just super vibrant magenta! Color theory is so important when using direct dyes- the canvas you put them on makes all the difference!
