My mums side of the family are no longer in my life. My bf and I split this week. Im not ok. To find out Honey is sick and it most likely is serious. Is a kick in the guts. I cant lose another. Especially now. Usually Id be in his bed having a hug and back tickles when Im like this and I cant. .... Today Honey went to the vet's. Honey Is my nearly 8yr old mix breed dog that is deaf. She started life rough. Very sick. We grabbed her and rushed her to the vets where we made her better. She fit in well with our family. She has had rough patches. With arthritis already at 2yrs old. Ear infections consistently which lead to aggressive issues for ear drops and hate for vets. This took a lot but she finally if great with vets and ear drops. She has allergies to random things. But despite her struggles in life Honey is the happiest girl and one of the kindest dogs you could meet. She loves people and is a very social girl. But she has cost us thousands. But we wouldnt change it. (Well we would if we could make her not get sick) Today we had some issues with a wound she got so took her to vets for antibiotics. He also found an ear infection again. The usual. But she has lost weight way to fast and went from 30kg- 21kg in a month. She is showing signs of a few things but CKD and cancer are the two biggest risks she is showing.. If you dont know me well enough. In 2020 we lost Mumma Cat. A rescue and mum to my boy cat Toothless to CKD. Her was an issue with anaesthetic being desexed. Last May many of you followed his journey but I lost my best friend Spider, 13yr old cat, from CKD. His was age and long term use of steroids while getting on top of allergies were main reasons. In Oct we lost Maisie my 9yr old collie x kelpie. Suddenly. To a seizure. I have CKD. I am a pet person. I love them. Animals. They are my life but also have brought a lot of depression with their loss to. I will help any animal I can and always will and am proud of it. All money from my OF always goes to something good. I dont use it on clothes or make up etc. I use it on these vet bills and Ive always donated some to animal rescues. Lately was paws and claws. So Im going to say, any help to Honey will be great and if it turns out her bloods arent to bad and something not to serious. The money made will be donated to an animal rescue again. My OF has over 1000 content. Think Im nearly up to 1000 specific posts to. Not including custom and private stuff. My link is in bio or below. Thanks in advance and if you cant help.
