The other day, I had a situation that really made me think about how much money can influence our plans. I was in line at a café, dreaming about my favorite dessert. When it was my turn, my card wouldn’t go through because of some random error. 🙈 And, of course, my wallet was completely empty.

I was about to leave, feeling embarrassed, when an elderly man behind me said, “Let me take care of it.” I tried to refuse politely, but he smiled and said, “Don’t say no, or I’ll be offended.” I couldn’t argue with that! 🙃

It was such a sweet gesture, but I felt awkward the whole evening. It’s funny how something as simple as money can turn a regular day upside down.

Moral of the story? We all have those moments sometimes. And honestly, I ended up laughing at myself for hours. 😂 But it reminded me how important small acts of kindness are in this world. 💕
