Back in 2019 I was obsessed with Polaroids - the original film, the cameras, all of it. I found out about the 20x24 Polaroid cameras: a series of 5 cameras made in the 1970s that shoot original Polaroids over 60cm tall. Only 2 of these cameras still work today - one is in New York and one is in Berlin. When I found out one was in Berlin, all I could think was “what do I have to do to be photographed by it!?”
I ended up getting in contact with the operator of the camera, the photographer Oliver Blohm, and it was my luck that he liked my modeling work. We ended up doing a couple of shoots together. The process of working with this camera was so amazing to me. (And the 20x24 camera in Berlin was the one that Andy Warhol used to use!)
At the end of 2019, Oliver reached out to me again to ask me to participate in his new project, “Gender Binary”. He wanted to photograph the genitals of 16 different people on the historic Polaroid camera. I was the first person he photographed for the project, making me the first woman to ever have her genitals photographed with this camera (Andy Warhol had taken pictures of some penises with it back in the ‘80s)
The third picture is Oliver with the camera on the day we took these photos, the fourth is me with our final shot, and the fifth is a scan of the final shot! The one I have in my apartment is an “outtake” that Oliver generously gifted me.

I have made a big decision, and decided to retire from all modeling and content creation. I’m doing this so that I can pursue photography - which is my passion - full time.
