You never know what someone deals with on a day-to-day basis. I deal with undiagnosed chronic pain. Undiagnosed because the process of diagnosis is long and grueling, especially when it comes to pain. If I had a dollar for every time someone looked at me like or flat out told me "it's all in my/your head" I would probably be able to afford a diagnosis 🤔🤦🏼♀️ sure, my mental trauma could be triggering unwanted tension.. BUT IF ME AND THE DOCTORS HAVE NOT FIGURED IT OUT... That means IT'S MORE THAN THAT. People are quick to give advice or submit their two cents on the matter but the FACT of the matter is.. No one is in my skin. No one is in that doctor's office with me. I refuse to take narcotics.
It feels like some kind of rheumatic disorder. Which I *have* been diagnosed with raynaud's so I'm not sure if it stems from something like that.
I've also had a few visible flair-ups. In high school my knees swole up to the size of grapefruits for no known reason. People act like there aren't still medical mysteries.. Or that diagnosing people is matter of fact.
A lot of times people are misdiagnosed. My dad was misdiagnosed with Ankelosing Spondylitis (sp?) as he tests positive in the HLAB27 test. My cousin was misdiagnosed with VATER syndrom. My Nana has myasthenia Gravis. Weird shit RUNS IN MY FAMILY.. And yet I still have to PROVE that I deal with debilitating pain.
So whatever. I'll post more of what I deal with so maybe I'll have a log of shit to: A) Show the doctors & B) look back on to see how I've improved or gotten worse pain wise. Honestly, I wouldn't wish the pain on anyone but I am partially hoping someone reads this and can either relate or knows someone who deals with something similar. Because I really just want answers and ailments.
So far it's just cannabis, epsom salt & oil baths, stretching, Tylenol, and an occasional QUARTER of a flexeril.. Because I hate muscle relaxers and narcotics. Western Medicine hasn't gotten me far. Sometimes I wish I could see doctors in another country.
