Minor big boob inconveniences
Today was chest day at the gym (pun definitely intended). Recently, a slight weight gain has decided to settle primarily in my chest, leading to a rather large spillage over the top of my sports bra. I was wearing low-key gym attire—a trusty sports bra, a regular men's medium t-shirt, and a pair of leggings—I hoped to remain inconspicuous. I normally do a surprisingly good job of hiding them.
As I powered through my reps, I couldn't help but notice someone fixating on me repeatedly. At first, I wondered if I was performing the exercise incorrectly. But knowing my form was flawless 😉, I started to suspect the real culprit: the jiggle of my overflowing chest. The part that spills out always seems to have a little extra bounce, doesn't it?
Feeling a little productive, I tried my luck at a few stores on the way home, hoping to find a temporary fix (aside from getting looks it does seem a bit sloppy). However, I was met with the familiar frustration of the one-size-fits-none sports bras, categorized as small, medium, and large. This sizing system is a nightmare for us slender, busty women. Anything that can accommodate my chest ends up being far too loose in the band.
One well-meaning sales associate approached to offer assistance. Trying my best to stay patient (I am awful at it), I explained my predicament. Despite her reassurances that their bras would fit me just fine (because my body isn’t unique 😉), I decided to skip it. No thanks, I know my situation better! Cue the Ron Swanson at Home Depot gif. Maybe I’ll just get something online.
I stupidly didn’t take any pictures and so I added a goofy video that I took for the purpose of image stills. 😆
