I won my first Roast Battle last night at The Comedy Mothership! This was my first time performing there, and I couldn't be more stoked.
I'm the first female comic to win a Roast Battle there, and currently the only female batter to win at all at that venue. 👀

We get the comics to perform one set sober, then get them "ripped" in the green room for a second set. Seriously.

Another highlight of SXSW for me so far: getting to attend and kick off the pre-SXSW party that Internet Marketing Party threw 🥳
David Gonzalez (the IMP founder) asked me to bring him up to kick the night off, and it was a huge honor.
I've been attending IMP of about 5 years now, and the attendees at this event would blow your mind. Many of them are huge in the marketing and entrepreneurship spaces and are huge inspirations / mentors of mine.
It was truly an "I can't believe I'm doing this" moment. Especially since when I showed up 5 years ago, I didn't know anyone.
And I was sooooo scared of being such a little fish among these sharks.
It's really cool to see others killing it at what they do and to hear encouraging words from them about what you're doing.
Anyway...anyone got cool brags for themselves? Shoot me a DM or comment about it!
