💻 a little about my relationship with computers 💻 when I was 4-5 years old I watched how my dad made a computer from a pile of garbage and when this thing worked I thought it was real magic (we didn’t have money for a computer from the store, and to be honest we didn’t have any money at all though to something during my childhood). for a while I was afraid to interact with this magic and just watched my father play different cool games, we lived in a small apartment with one room and the computer desk was right next to my bed. Dad played until late, and when I was forbidden to stand next to dad and watch, I just pretended to be asleep and watched him play with one eye while lying in bed. Time passed and in less than a month I started playing different games myself, but I started with various strategy games (dad only recorded strategies and shooters on discs, but I was afraid of shooters) For each of my birthdays, the most desirable and valuable gift for me was any updates to our computer, together with my father we went to the computer spare parts markets, chose something and installed it all together.
