⏰Throwback Thursday⏰ 🗓️ 2005 This was taken at a waterfall in a botanical garden. It was one of the fist places we took photos after we discovered we can take photos outside. From there on out we were always on the lookout for pretty places in nature that we could use. The problem of course is that with the noise of the waterfall you can not hear anyone approaching! But luckily not a lot of people come to this spot.

The first time I didn't even see the old man watching me. To this day I don't know how long he was watching me before I noticed him. When he noticed that I saw him, he just turned around and walked away! 😅😂

⏰Throwback Thursday⏰ 🗓️ 2005 I have lots of hobbies. Modeling of course but I also like to build things from wood. I enjoy arts and crafts, cooking, reading and painting. This is me posing with one of my paintings I did that year. Another painting that I did was exhibited at a gallery that year. It was the only painting that got sold that night! I have to admit, I was very proud and happy. that night.

⏰Throwback Thursday⏰ 🗓️ 2005 This is the day I discovered that is can be dangerous to take photos out in nature. Just after this photo, we walked out of the bird lookout and I was stung by a hornet! All I can say is: "IT HURT LIKE HELL!!". But even that didn't stop me from continuing with the hobby!

💛Fields of Gold⭐ -Sting 🎺 So she took her love for to gaze awhile Upon the fields of barley In his arms she fell as her hair came down Among the fields of gold Will you stay with me, will you be my love Among the fields of barley We'll forget the sun in his jealous sky As we lie in fields of gold 🎸 Canola August is a great time to drive in the Cape Fold Mountain area in the Caledon and Bredasdorp area of the Western Cape. The rolling hills are covered with acres of Canola flowers. It sure makes me thing of “Golden Fields”. My husband got on the roof of the truck to take these photos. I sneaked into the fields through an open gate 😏! Nonnie the criminal 🦹♀️😂. Canola is a crop with plants from three to five feet tall that produce pods from which seeds are harvested and crushed to create canola oil. These plants also produce small, yellow flowers, which beautify the environment as you can see. Canola belongs to the Brassica plant family as does mustard, broccoli, Brussels sprouts and cauliflower 😲. The canola plant can also be used for margarine, bio-diesel, sunscreen and so much more. This beautiful flower is very versatile indeed!

⏰Throwback Thursday⏰ 🗓️ 2004 18 years ago I was 31 years old We started taking photos more outside in the garden in 2004. We only took 247 photos for the year 😲! The reason for that was that we only started taking photos late in August 2004. The reason for that is that I got pregnant in 2003, so we didn't take any photos that year. Most of you know by now, our third daughter was born in December 2003 but passed away in March 2004👼. That is the reason we only started taking photos again late in 2004. The photos helped me a lot to get over the grief of losing my ch1ld. It helped me to see that there is life after death and that it is OK to move on! I have to admit, it was a difficult time in my life😢. On Boxing day of that year, we discovered that we can take photos outside in public.
