Monotony in the greenhouse.... racks upon racks of pots to fill with hundreds upon hundreds of seedlings. The process is tedious because we move the pots on and off the carts to add in time release fertilizer then again to plant the seedlings...there has to be a better process I think 😬🤨 There's some fascinating machinery in this outfit, maybe someday I'll learn how to use it all.

Excitement on the prairie can be as simple as starting work at a local greenhouse (cause I love growing things), to ice crystals Jack Frost left on windows, to family members spotting a pack of 5-6 coyotes right behind the barn eyeing the livestock! It's still single digits at times but spring IS coming just around the corner! 😜

Experimenting for Valentine's, a sweet treat became a family affair...lemon curd, caramel and raspberry layered chocolate covered cheesecake bites. Then watch me turn a cloth napkin into a rose, and see one of the appetizers! Lots of prep happening for next Tuesday.
So far I've only had one nightmare while planning this special occasion dinner for the last few weeks...I dreamed that day of, we had mountains of dishes to wash and tables to move then right about an hour before serving time, I realized none of the food was prepared! 🤪🤦

Always good to see bills getting smaller 😜 that IS a lot of water but there are 10+ people here daily AND all the livestock: a half dozen dairy goats, a calf, a dozen icelandic sheep, around 25 chickens, half a dozen rabbits, peacocks, multiple dogs and cats. Not bad at all...

Starting the new year Monday off in PJ's with a workout. A snow storm is moving across the prairies threatening several inches of fluffy whiteness and I've got a chiro appointment later in the week. Work dinner has been rescheduled because of the storm...
I'm feeling like a lazy day reading books...that I should have finished last year...but looking around my room has me thinking a deep clean and makeover is top priority... 😬
