Threw on some glitter polish yesterday...kinda matches my leggings 😁 Woke up to some fresh snow, then on my way to the bank, I was fascinated by the giant tractor tire cut in half being used as a snow plow similar to the one in the picture (not mine). Genius!!

Dry prairie wind is so hard on long hair! 😭 Thinking about finding some natural color or maybe a trim/style but have no idea what would work well with my busy lifestyle. Messy buns, often with a hat is the go to, it works when I've got pizza to roll or a catering event.

Catered a private dinner for 20 last week...
Meat & Cheese charcuterie board, spanakopita, and bruschetta as appetizers, followed by a buffet of fresh green salad garnished with layers of dried cranberries, purple onion, feta cheese, pecans, apple slivers, and house made vinaigrette, house made creamy pesto sauce over cheese ravioli, and Grandma's sausage and cheese lasagna. Desserts were a choice of Key Lime Pie, or New York style cheesecake in either Amaretto or Chocolate Mocha flavors, or plain with fresh whipped cream and blueberries. I think everything turned out very tasty!! What would you tip for a dinner like this?😋
We've been finding these fascinating little rocks in the garden. Some say Chalcedony perhaps? Idk but the little bubbly texture is cool 😎

We are getting ready for the holiday season at work by trying new recipes for treats for the catering side of the business... apparently complicated ones by the looks of the two recipes I got to try this last week! 😬🤷 An Apricot Couronne twisted wreath bread and Macarons....the later had a whole 1.5 pages of detailed instructions....I had to find another recipe using all purpose flour to follow as we didn't have almond flour on hand. Not bad for first attempts but I'm pretty sure I twisted that bread wrong. Better luck next week!! At least the boss was impressed 😁

I realized fully this weekend that I've hit a funk dealing with my lower back... putting off chiro appointments all summer and not working out.... because well, all the excuses....weddings to cater, extra shifts at work, traveling, a new baby, etc.... I quit posting content, quit getting dolled up, just let myself get into a reclusive mundane rut and I don't like it! Two workouts in this weekend and scheduling a chiro appointment ASAP!!! Check out this wonderful roast Beau made for dinner....I made some fresh wheat rolls to go with it but forgot to snap a pic.
