Walked to a quiet beach with a friend in time to see the colors change in the sky, sunset time. What an adventurous day! Highlights include swimming out in the ocean at a gorgeous stretch of beach; eating lunch on the floor at a small fisherman’s village on the beach; getting soaked while placing rocks in puddles to get the vehicle unstuck from water and mud; hanging out on a dirt road with local children for hours while waiting and watching a tire be changed on the vehicle; watching a motorcycle tire get changed; racing down a dirt road with two Africans on motorcycle in the evening; getting out of the vehicle a second time to view the car tire that was shredded from a second blow; being shown beautiful beach front property; smoking a joint in the evening back at the village I am staying at on Mafia island and recognizing I have no stress.
