Good morning everyone.
Only 2 days left of the year. It is just amazing how this year has flown past. Tomorrow we will have a barbecue with friend to see the old year out and the new year in.
In any case, we’ve made a new video for you. The longest one yet! With the new video camera, we’ve started videoing our photoshoot. This is the very first photoshoot we’ve done. I did cut out some boring bits, the sound isn’t very good so I had to put caption in the video. I also translated some of my “Afrikaans”.
I would appreciate some feedback. As you know I’m not really good with videos, so any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
I will post the video later today! The photos posted today was the photos taken while the video was recording.
Have a great day everyone.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hallo everyone!
I didn't want to post today, take another day off, but dammit, I missed you all just too much. I really missed everyone here. I missed the comments! I missed the chats! I missed posting!
I hope each an everyone of you had a great festive season. We had a great time here. On Christmas day we had friends and family over and had a great time at the swimming pool.
So what did you do this festive season? I would love to know.
This is a ruin near the Long Tom pass. We've only been here once or twice and will be going back early in the new year. A lovely ruin indeed. The last few times we've been in the area, we didn't take photos here. Mostly because it is so difficult to reach this ruin. It is a long walk through long grass...full of snakes! 😂😂😂 Ok, we've never seen snakes there, but I'm sure they are there...just waiting for us!
Have a great day everyone. Enjoy the last few days of this year.
❤️🤎❤️🤎❤️🤎❤️🤎❤️🤎❤️🤎❤️🤎❤️🤎❤️🤎❤️🤎❤️
Wishing our Friends
a Joyous Holiday filled with
Peace
Love
Laughter

Merry Christmas
Best Wishes for a Healthy and Happy New Year.
🎄🎆🎇🍾🎈🥳🤶🥳🎈🍾🎇🎆🎄
I will be taking off a few days and will be back early in the new year.
I want to thank every one of you, for making this year one of my best and most memorable years yet. I love you all.

Dancin' In the Ruins - Blue Öyster Cult
Tomorrow soon turns into yesterday.
Everything we see just fades away.
There's sky and sand where mountains used to be.
Time drops by a second to eternity.
It doesn't matter if we turn to dust;
Turn and turn and turn we must!
I guess I'll see you dancin' in the ruins tonight!
Dancin' in the ruins!
Guess I'll see you dancin' in the ruins tonight!
There's laughter where I used to see your tears.
It's all done with mirrors, have no fears.
There's nothing pure or sacred in our time.
The nights we spend together are no crime.

🎵You Light up My Life - Debby Boone
So many nights I'd sit by my window
Waiting for someone to sing me his song
So many dreams I kept deep inside me
Alone in the dark, but now you've come along
And you light up my life
You give me hope to carry on
You light up my days
And fill my nights with song

🎵Sitting by the Window - Billy Eckstine
Sittin' by the window,
Thinkin' of you darlin',
Hoping that you'll call me very very soon!
I'm sittin' by the window,
Watching the raindrops fall,
Pitter patter, the raindrops fall.
Thinking of you darling,
Hoping that you will call,
Hoping that you will call;
And while I'm reminiscing,
My heart's filled with pain,
It seems each little raindrop spells you name
On my window pane.
I'm sittin' by the window,
Just like we used to do,
Like we used to do, used to do.
Empty chair beside me,
Darling, how I miss you, (sc4t).
Although the rain's stopped falling,
My window sill never dries,
There's still the pitter patter
Of teardrops from my eyes.

🎵Wife Behind The Cowboy - Chris LeDoux
There's lots of pretty cowgirls but this you may not know
There's a very special kind at every rodeo
Her husband is a cowboy she's his greatest fan
She's the wife behind the cowboy and the cowboys a lucky man
She's hauled water from the crick and got dust all over her clothes
She's been so hot she's thought she'd die and so cold she nearly froze
She's cooked over an open fire slept under the stars above
And you know she'd do it all again just to be with the man she loves

🎵I'm Gonna Sit On The Porch And Pick On My Old Guitar - Johnny Cash
I want to sit on my porch and pick on my old guitar
And just hope you're hangin' loose where ever you are
And for the joy you brought to me this song I sung for thee
While I sit on my porch and pick on my old guitar
🎨Saturday Art🖼️ - (6)
🎵Out In The Fields Lyrics - Meredith Brooks
Out in the fields, the sky is burning
I feel the joy returning, out in the fields
Listen to the winds of heaven
I feel with a rhyme and reason
🎨Saturday Art🖼️ - (7)
🎵Red Green Black - Clean Cut Kid
I watched the video today
Think I saw you in the back
Pixelated outline of your face in grains of red and green and black
Just when I went to press replay
Realised my mind was in the past
'Cause you're gone now and I know you've gone to stay
And you're never coming back
In the red and the green and the black
Make your face out of the shapes and the blades of trampled grass
I can see you in the sunset silhouette
I see you in my dreams and I'm sad 'cause it never lasts
I can see you in the red the green the black
I can see you in the red the green the black
🎨Saturday Art🖼️ - (8)
🎵Forest Green - Aisha Badru
My legs were tethered and bound
Set free by the pieces of wisdom I found
My skin grew calloused and rough
Built up by the voices that said I wasn't enough
But my heart is a forest green
Sustained by the rivers that I chase in my dreams
I run through the fields dressed in white
Unstained by the poison that leaks from my mind
Keep going
Keep going
🎨Saturday Art🖼️ - (9)
🎵Fallen Heroes - Bloodbound
A fallen star has left its mark
Gone to find another purpose
(In a land far away, to infinity)
To seek the light beyond the dark
Hidden truths we always failed to see
(Spread your wings fly away to eternity)
I pray but no one ever seems to hear
Memories never fade
And your deeds were never in vain
For the fallen heroes
We raise our hands to the sky
And seek the sign
To believe in something higher
For the fallen heroes
We go through fire and pain
And seek the sign
To believe in something great
Something higher
🎨Saturday Art🖼️ - (10)
🎵Right Here Waiting - Richard Marx
Wherever you go
Whatever you do
I will be right here waiting for you
Whatever it takes
Or how my heart breaks
I will be right here waiting for you
I took for granted, all the times
That I thought would last somehow
I hear the laughter, I taste the tears
But I can't get near you now
🎨Saturday Art🖼️ - (11)
🎵Yellow Walls - Jackson C. Frank
Yellow walls that shine like silver
Dark green windows
Stare never closed
From yellow walls that shine like silver
Through the hands I choose to hold
No one knows me
In the morning
No one sees me go walking by
And if I listen while no one answers
The winds can only echo a goodbye
I've been watching a lot of Tik Tok videos lately. I know, it's lame. But that gave me an idea for this video. I don't know if I succeeded, but it was great fun making the video. My poor husband, that had to spin me around, was exhausted by the time we were finished. I actually saw how red his face became, so I did cut the quote a bit shorter😅!
Have a great evening everyone.
This was taken at Fonteinedal in Pretoria two days ago. I have said previously that I really want to go and look how the place has changed. Well, it's changed a lot. Our favorite picnic spot is now unreachable. Where an open grass field was, (the last 2 photos), is now just bushes and weeds. For some reason they've decided to plough the field😮! Because of the furrows and weeds, we couldn't reach our picnic spot😢.
We couldn't reach out little wooden bridge due to workers blocking the road. Will go have a look next time. All in all, we still had a great time. It was fun making the movies, but I think we still have a long way to go😅!

⏰Throwback Thursday🕰️
📆2009
I was 36 years old
In 2009 we moved back to Benoni. But we were in our travelling mode and travelled as much as we can. Even here we found some amazingly beautiful places. Places like Magoebaskloof, God’s Window and many more.
We travelled a lot this year. We often did 1500km in one weekend! But it was worth it. We saw some amazing places, did some amazing things and enjoyed every minute. The travel bug has bitten us and there was no going back! The one thing I notices going through the photos of this year...I wore a lot of black. I think I found one day that I did not wear something black. Black was my “go-to” color in those days, (and I thought it made me look slimmer😜). Or maybe it was my "Goth" period🤣🤣!
Nonnie.bio.link
Some comments on the photos:
* 01/02. The waterfall in the Pretoria botanical garden. Even though we travelled a lot, we did find some time to just visit some botanical gardens close to us.
* 03. This was taken in the area of the “Cradle of Humankind”. They often have balloon rides in the early morning here. We were lucky in that one took off behind me.
* 04. Man, did I try weird poses in those day. It was a case of: “Let try and see if it works😂!I must actually start doing weird poses again.
* 06. A waterfall we discovered driving back from Magoebaskloof. We’ve been here a few time, but in the winter there is no water falling down. Luckily this was in the rainy season.
* 09. My mother told us about the beauty of Magoebaskloof. So the first chance we got we went there. And man, were we surprised. The beauty of Magoebaskloof is legendary. There is some huge fallen trees there to post on. It is still one of my favourite places to visit.
* 10. The “All seeing Eye” of the tree! Love the idea of the tree just patiently standing there, looking at all the people walking by.
* 13/14. We do have rules in our hobby. We will leave a place like we found it. We will never enter private property, (only once😉😂). But we love ruins, so when we discovered this one, we really wanted to take photos there. As luck would have it, there was a phone number on the gate. Well, we phoned and got permission from the farmer! I would love to get back.
* 16. Although I started to do topless shoot, I was still very scared of being caught. So I mostly did it in places where I knew I won’t get caught...like deep in the forest.
* 17. An abandoned church we found. Probably the biggest ruin we ever used. But it is gone now. All I have of the church is a piece of mortar we found there years later.
* 19/20. The irony of it is that I did go back to Cape Town that year. We decided to rent the house out there and I went down to supervise the renovations we planned. I was there all alone for a month, I slept on a mattress in the living room and used our Nissan as a truck to bring building supplies to the house! This was on our way to Cape Town at sunset near Sutherland.
* 21. The inside of the church.
* 22. When you travel a lot, you do see so much amazing things. This was stormy clouds on our way back home from Fouriesburg. We stopped next to the road for an impromptu photoshoot.
Well, that is it for this Throwback Thursday. Although we were sad to leave the beauty of Cape Town, we did discovered that there are so many more beautiful places out there. You must just be prepared to explore.
Have a great day everyone. Tomorrow I will post some of the photos we took yesterday.
🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
(because I only wore black in 2009 😉😂🤣)
We had a great photoshoot today. We also took some video. Here is one of the attempts. I'm really not a video model 😂😂😂
We tool a lot more, also where I was posing. I will edit the videos and post it soon.
Have a great evening everyone!
💖🌹Being Grateful🌹❤️
Some people could be given an entire field of roses and only see the thorns in it.
Others could be given a single weed and only see the wildflower in it.
Perception is a key component to gratitude.
And gratitude a key component to joy.

This was taken on Burgers pass just north of Utrecht. We were on our way to a caravan park just north east of Dundee. The grass in winter here in South Africa in always brown and “not living”. I’m not allowed to say the other word😜! It makes for a bleak countryside. But you now what? It is still beautiful.
In the last photo we are just having lunch next to the road, hot dogs in this case. We often will stop next to the road and make lunch, have something to drink and just enjoy the scenery.
A final note. I’m very grateful for all of you supporting me here. I want to thank each an every one of you.
Have a grateful day everyone.

💙Blue Denim💙

you have to be happy on purpose.

you can't just wait to see what kind of day you'll have.
You have to decide what kind of day you'll have.

I want a Smiling Blue Denim type of day!
Taken at Fountains Valley in Pretoria when it was still safe to go there! We haven't been there in years. I'm very curios to go see what is happening there. I think a trip there this week will be a good idea.
ps. So we've bought a proper video camera on Saturday. Now the fun starts. This means of course I will post much more videos! I'm very awkward on videos, so it will be a laugh a minute😜! I think Fountains Valley will be the first testing ground of the new camera!
💙Happy Monday Everyone💙
Cheers everyone 🍻. Have a great Saturday.
I promised a subscriber that we will make more videos to post. The problem is that we don't have a decent video camera. I have been looking for one for ages now, but definitely will get one soon. My husband finds the cellphone camera just too limiting and the camera we have been using have a problem with focusing when you zoom.
But enjoy this short video. I will post a lot more soon.
Have a great day everyone!

🔆Glowing Day🔆
Sun glows for a day,
Candle for an hour,
Matchstick for a minute,
But a good day can glow forever
Good Morning Everyone.
Sitting in the early morning sun with a glow in my red hair. I have to make two observations. I miss my long hair and I miss that color of hair. I think I must color it that color again.
Please have a great Friday...
...and even better weekend.

🌹2008 Bonus🌹
I just thought I will post some more photos of my small breasts. This was long before my implants. Just enjoy.
Have a great evening everyone.

(A bumper posting. I just couldn't stop myself. I hope you will enjoy it)
⏰Throwback Thursday🕰️
📆2008
I was 35 years old
2008 was to be our last year in Cape Town. When we moved there, my husband’s company said it would be for 3 to 5 years. In September we were informed that we have to leave Cape Town at the end of the year😔😢. But for most of 2008 we were completely oblivious to this fact. We toured as far as we could, we explored, we enjoyed every second of the incredible beauty of CT.
This year our hobby expanded by leaps and bounds. I started to wear pantihose more. I had to admit, I was not too keen on wearing pantihose. In those days my husband had to bribe me to wear pantihose on a shoot. I just didn’t like wearing them, so a nice meal was a good bribe😂.
We also went on our first long, (for those days), trips. We only did day trips, but it all changed when we went on our first 3 day trip. We travelled from CT to Barrydale where we slept in the Royal Hotel. The next morning we drove to Knysna and via the Prince Alfred pass to Oudshoorn where we slept at a B&B. The last day we travelled home via Montague.
It was a great year that we enjoyed very much.
Some comments on the photos:
02. I miss the sea...
03. This is also the first time I sat in water. I was very worried because the water did not look too clean. But adventurous me though I will give it a try. I have to report that everything was fine afterwards.
08. All aboard the Nonnie Express.
10. Trying to keep my boobies warm in the cold snow🥶!
11. Formal wear next to the sea. Now what can go wrong?
12. Desperately trying to escape from the sea that is hell-bent on pulling me into the cold, dark waters😅😂!
13. This day I just decided to take my blouse of and stood there topless next to the Proteas. The first time I took my shirt of and not just my boobies out of the shirt.
14. Do I look unhappy here? No. Do I look angry here? No. I was fuming! I wanted to explode. There was a lot of bees buzzing around me and I just wanted to leave. The husband said: "Nah, it will be fine". After the second photos I just jumped up and ran to the car. It was a silent ride home😂😂😂!
18. We've been taking photos for 20 years now. In those 20 years, this photos taken 14 years ago is still my favourite of all the photos taken. I love my clothes, the colours, the pose and just the "feel" of the photo. It is like I am "Sleeping Beauty" in the forest.
19. I love sitting on big di...guns😂😂! And this is the biggest gun I've ever sat on. This was taken at a gun overlooking Simon's Town. We were lucky that nobody was around.
20. This was taken at Churchhaven (Preekstoel) right next to the Langebaan lagoon. For a long time I thought this rock I'm sitting on was called the Churchhaven (Preekstoel). I only today discovered it is the area's name😂😂😂! I love this photo!
23. Once I took my shirt of in nature, there was no putting it back on again. Once I realized how cool the wind feel on my breasts, I was hooked😅!
25. This was the last photo we took before moving away from Cape Town. A very sad day indeed. This was taken on top of Paarl mountain. We often visited this mountain.
💙Like a River💙
An early morning sitting at the Sabie river. It was right next to the Bushbuckridge road, a gravel road that runs from Sabie to the R37 road. A very scenic drive and probably our favorite road. It was a cold morning as you might guess from my "scrunched" up areola😅😂.
“A woman in harmony with her spirit is like a river flowing. She goes where she will without pretense and arrives at her destination prepared to be herself and only herself.”

A ruin near the town of Badplaas. We've been here a few time and not once have we been disappointed with the photos. A nice place to visit and it is not far away.
Have a great day everyone.

💙Monday in the Forest🌲
Good morning everyone. I hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was fairly busy but I enjoyed it very much. I hope you will have a great week.
The forests are home to the African elephant - in the last count (2017-2019) there was just one single adult female, age 45 years, surviving😔 There is however an elephant's sanctuary that we visited. Leopard, bushbuck, blue duiker, bushpig and other mammals are also found here. The area has a rich assortment of birds including the near-endemic Knysna lourie, Knysna warbler, Knysna woodpecker and a lot more. Birds of prey found here include the crowned eagle and the African wood owl. An amazing forest indeed.
“Come to the woods, for here is rest. There is no repose like that of the green deep woods. Sleep in forgetfulness of all ill.”
- John Muir
ps. I wanted to post a photos of me where I'm with an elephant in the sanctuary. But I'm scared that OF will ban me again for "beast1ality". Last time I got banned for 3 days just standing with a few horses! There are about 8 elephants in the sanctuary. It is a photo of me standing in front of the elephant, touching it's trunk.
🎨Artsy Fartsy Sunday👩🎨
Good day everyone. I hope and trust that your weekend is going great. My friend's mother passed away and I will pay her a visit today. So I'm just posting some "artsy" photos for today. I wanted to write something with every photo, but I just don't have the time today. I'm really sorry about that.
Just enjoy the photos today and have an awesome day. Thank you so much for being here, supporting me and enjoying my photos.
