Netflix you suck.
I was so excited that Netflix was offering their services for $3 a month less, which would include commercials. That's fine with me cuz anything I can do to save money is a good thing.
And then when my $3 a month subscription kicked in, I was very unpleasantly surprised.
Almost every show I tried to watch wouldn't play, and I'd get a message saying something like "you're not authorized, loser."
Well, it didn't say "loser," but it may as well have! :)
I wondered, what the hell? I went to their site and it says when you have the cheapo subscription - nearly $100 a year for the least expensive option - - - there are certain shows that would not be available because I'm on the $100/year plan.
So I did resume my previous tier level. :(

**PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT**
Here's ANOTHER horrible thing I recommend you stay away from, lovebugs!!
I have a bit of ADD and usually when I'm "watching" TV I'm doing 10 other things at the same time. One of the things is playing silly little app games.
I was playing Bingo Clash until I realized what a SCAM they are.
There's absolutely no way to win!!!
The way you get the highest score and win among the competitors you're playing against is to get the best score. I would hit every number on the bingo card except for maybe 2-3 and get a really good score and there would be people I was playing with who would somehow get DOUBLE that.
There's no fucking way that can happen.
So I did a little research and I realized that Bingo Clash - and maybe many other of these sorts of apps - … hire staff who pose as players and give them crazy scores so that they win. But they're not really winning, because they're paid staff.
So basically, Bingo Clash pockets all the money for themselves and pays out ZERO to their app users.
Even though I was playing these games with pennies, once I realized they were ripping me off and there was no way for me to win, I called them out and deleted the app.

O M GEEEEEEE!!!!! For nearly 12 hours I lost my calendar entries in my iPhone. It is my life!
I got rid of my day planner (about time) and stopped entering appointments in my Alexa app because it was less convenient than my iphone calendar.
So, everything's in my iPhone calendar… Probably 30 to 35 entries per day of things I have to do, appointments I have, reminders, etc. Like I said, my life's in there.
I was using it on Wednesday morning and then it froze and I closed out of the app, and when I opened it up it was still frozen, so I closed out of the app again and turned off my phone, turned it back on, and now there were only birthdays and holidays in my calendar.
I had to talk to three different AppleCare advisors before it got fixed about 12 hours later. WHAT A RELIEF!!!!
These little tests from the universe continually prove to me that I can be calm and have faith that all will turn out perfectly, no matter what.
And the universe has been testing the hell out of me throughout my life, and I feel the last 4.5 years I've been tested quite intensely.
I deem these tests as expiating my negative karma, so that's always a good thing!!
Being ra*ped at knifepoint, dealing with my bigoted, toxic, disgusting job where they were abusive to me about my PTSD as a result of the ra*pe, health issues that have been coming up, lack of money since losing my job due to Covid (so glad that happened!!! That 15 year-long job was such a nightmare!), the new landlord that I have that's breaking all sorts of laws and that I am officially fighting with the support of the City.
Anyway I'm very grateful to have my calendar back because as I told one of the Apple care advisors, if I don't have my calendar I might as well just lay in bed all day because I won't know what I'm supposed to be doing. Lol.

When I worked in the movie business, I was friends and lovers with high profile people. It was a fun time in my life for sure. The work was fun, my boss was super famous so a lot of perks came along with that.
A writer/director became a friend of mine and he and his wife would often have intimate gatherings at their home.
One evening he couldn't get over how gorgeous I looked and insisted on photographing me. He was one really creative guy, and so he threw in a mannequin's head and put these cool shades on me. Not sure why he had a mannequin head on hand but that was the least of his strangeness.
Now for the strange part . . . at least I thought it was at the time.
After dinner we were all sitting around having drinks (me), some were smoking pot, some were doing coke. He announced that he had a home movie to show us and proceeded to play us a porn movie in his home theater.
It was a sex tape of him jerking off his big cock, which he was super proud of, him and his wife having sex, her blowing him, etc., etc.
I'll never forget how we all sat there in stunned silence.

Most of my career was spent working in the entertainment industry. It was a blast, and I could definitely write a book… ‼️
One of the jobs I had was being one of four assistants to Charlie Matthau. Walter, his dad, was still alive —- and hysterical! Every time I spoke to him on the phone, I would end up giggling endlessly because he was a very funny man, even off screen.
Charlie was SERIOUS!!
One thing I’ll never forget is all calls made/received in the office, which was in one of his homes in Pacific Palisades, were made from a landline. Since we were all running around town doing errands for him, if one of us was the only one remaining in the office and had to use the bathroom, we had to bring the phone with us into the bathroom so we didn’t miss any calls while peeing.
True story. It was ridiculous.

One of the things I learned years ago when I did EST was the concept "earlier similar."
For example, some kid who looked a certain way that was mean to you as a kid is carried with you in your subconscious to present day, and if you see someone that reminds you of that kid, you automatically don't like them.
Avatar is one of my earlier similars… I have many of them LOL.
I went to see it w/my 2nd ex-husband and we fought all the way there and we were fighting when the movie started - and he got up and left ---- with the car!!!
I wanted to watch the movie and so I thought fuck him I'll deal with getting home afterwards. I walked home, as I was only a few miles from home. But I hated the movie because I was sooo upset!!!
Sometimes it's a real challenge to feel that I didn't waste a lot of my life being with shitasses like my 2nd ex husband.
My next lifetime is going to be very very different.

As you may have read here on my OF blog, I hate everything.
I've tried everything of excellence.
I've done much of what the high rollers do.
I've known and befriended so many prominent and/or famous people. And that's why I'm no longer starstruck....they're just people, with fat bank accounts and are often miserable, mean, entitled assholes. NO THX!
I've watched, seen and LIVED it all.
I'm super easily bored and very judgmental about what I use for skincare, bodycare, haircare, etc.
My lips have never been fuller and as hydrated as they are now because there's no wax in Lipsense lip color or our specialty glosses.
I hope you don't use Chapstick, Burt's Bees, etc. That stuff addicts you to it, because it dries out your lips as you use it, due to their crap ingredients. And then you have to keep applying. What a racket!!!
Do you take care of your skin and lips ---- and ALL of you? I hope you do cuz you DESERVE the very best!!!!

Because of my personal experience during my life and interacting with so many people over the years, I actually don't believe people when they say they had a 'perfect childhood.'
If you're you're someone who has escaped trauma in your childhood, congratulations! You are a rare breed.
I also feel that if you've experienced trauma, it is your responsibility to develop your compassion, wisdom and intelligence about what happened to you so that not only can you heal, but you can be available to others who have had similar experiences, if you're the generous type who wants to help others.

Recently I told a good friend that my intuition is my best friend.
I've developed my intuition and continue to, and I used it today and realized I did so automatically.
It's now become second nature for me to trust my intuition. Here's what happened:
I was waiting in the lobby of a medical building for my Lyft to pick me up. A woman came in and I'm very friendly and I said hello and she went into an office and it sounded like they were talking very happily and she was in and out of there really quickly and when she came out, I asked what kind of doc did she just see, cuz it sounded like you guys were having a lot of fun.
She said it's my chiropractor, and he's fantastic! She went on and on about how great he is and even though I have my own chiropractor on my insurance plan and I'm very happy with him, I thought, ya never know. She told me to go get one of his biz cards, so I did.
I went into his office and there were no business cards on the counter. About 30 seconds later the chiropractor popped out and asked what I needed and I said I'd like your business card and he said he was out of them, and I said OK, and he said yeah I don't have any, have a good day. And that was it.
I walked out of that office and thought wow this guy doesn't need my business does he?!?! I was turned off that he would treat a potential patient like that.
I sincerely feel so relieved that when my intuition sends up a red flag, that I'm able to totally recognize it and respond to it appropriately.

I'm not much of a reader any longer, since a piece of shit high on who knows what rear-ended me and I suffered a concussion.
I don't even know how I was able to do such a great job when I worked in the corporate world after that car crash, but I was able to still be excellent in the office.
But it's hard for me to even
read a magazine because my mind is going going going . . . I'm scattered and it's hard for me to concentrate on one thing.
However, when I read The Untethered Soul, I did so in one day. It blew my mind!! I still love quoting passages from that amazing book.
