I always have wonderful conversations with my Lyft drivers and a recent driver let me know that one of the side effects of having had Covid, which he had a few years ago, was that his testicles hurt. He didn't know that that was a side effect of Covid and had it checked out and the test revealed nothing was wrong with him. So he googled it and found out that's one of the possible side effects. It's the first time I've ever heard that and so I thought maybe y'all haven't heard that either. In case you've had Covid and your balls hurt, this could be a side effect - - - but please go have it checked out just in case. #healthiseverything xo xo

***Landlord BS Update*** My shitass landlord, who wouldn't sign our mediation agreement prepared by the City due to the extremely necessary changes that I asked for, which were all discussed in mediation but for some reason were not included in the agreement ------- is such a total butthole!!! Anyway, we now go to hearing (via Zoom cuz Covid is cray cray here) on 12/7. I really have no idea what the hearing will be like in comparison to the mediation, but I'm excited to get it done! And my neighbor who is also fighting with the landlord is a giant jerkhole too. I don't know if he's on drugs or bipolar or just a dick, but he's hot and cold when it comes to being communicative. He'll say he's gonna do something to assist me and then I never hear from him. We might see each other in the hallway, or while picking up our mail, and maybe he'll speak to me, and maybe he won't. Just super grateful I'm not in a relationship with that creep. I've had enough of that in my life! Grrrrrr. I think this magnet on my fridge is 100%%% how I feel these days. This can be difficult to achieve… Not allowing the behavior of assholes to affect you is challenging - I worked for one of the biggest dickheads I've ever encountered, for 15 years, at my most recent corporate jobs. So I get it!! My recommendation: Do whatever you need to do to rise above. It's so freeing to know that miserable people want everyone around them to be miserable too. If you allow yourself to be in their presence and you are allowing yourself to be affected, something has to change . . . either your reaction to the unwanted behavior or you need to remove yourself from the unwanted behavior. I know a lot of people stay stuck in miserable situations. I certainly have… Even though I was able to transform my relationship with my asshole boss, I was the one who changed --- not him. So every once in a while when he would spew his venom my way, it would hurt. But he didn't have the effect on me that he once did. #keepevilawayfromme xo

I try to stay off Facebook as much as possible but I need it so that I can have access to FB Messenger because I manage my Senegence teams there, and more. I belong to a few groups on Facebook, and one of them is a coalition of fellow Santa Monicans who are appalled, disgusted and fed up with our crap elected officials who keep taking away our beloved police force, when things are really bad. I almost always dated - and even married - musicians. Some were famous, some were successful and on their way to famousness, and some were struggling. I love love love creative people, music and the general vibe of musicians. This was the day after I went on a horrible date with my future 2nd ex-husband. Have you ever used Bond No. 9 perfumes? They are my absolute favorite! I'm definitely a scent freak… Candles, incense, reed diffusers, flowers, and I love perfume. I have quite a collection and I even though I haven't been able to buy anything from Bond No. 9 since I retired, I still get their mailers --- and I DROOL!! On this Thanksgiving eve I am very grateful to be exactly where I am in my life… Living on a fixed income and struggling every day to make ends mee*t. Because the alternative was to still be at the hell job I had for 15 years, and the last six months of it nearly killed me. It was THAT BAD.
