The reason I chose this tune for this graphic is because of the lyrics at the top of the song… My doctor was definitely "killing me softly" for about eight hours today, from the time I read my test results online, to the time she called and left me a voicemail. Everything in the report from the CT scan AND what she wrote to me in response to the scan said "carcinoma in the left breast." BUT THERE'S ZERO CANCER IN MY BREAST OR CHEST thank goodness!!! I wasn't able to ask her why the report said that, and why she reiterated CARCINOMA, because she only left a voicemail. Regardless of the reason, this made me think I had breast cancer for the second time in 15 years. I wasn't freaked out, but did cry a few times during those eight hours, and played it all out in my mind up to and including my death. I do this every time I have a health scare, which actually calms me down. Bottom line, I'm very relieved to report that I do not have cancer in my chest area, anyway. I see a pulmonologist in a week because I do have some major things going on with my lungs per the X-ray I had + this CT scan, but my pulmonologist will reveal all next week. I am beyond beyond beyond grateful!! And as always, I'm chanting my ass off! #thankyouuniverse xo

Ever since my new landlord bought the building six months ago, they’ve been a pain in the ass. 🤮 They don’t know the laws of being a landlord in Santa Monica. They’ve been sued for millions of dollars by previous tenants in LA County, and they’re rude, incompetent, and, like I said, a pain in my fucking ass!😡 So since August, when I by chance found out the landlord had disconnected our interior and exterior security cameras at my apartment building, I totally lost it. 🙀 I PTSD from being ra*ped at knifepoint in this apartment, and capturing him on the security cameras (in addition to heaps of forensic evidence) played a big part in convicting him to four life sentences.👍🏻 I let the douche landlord know about my circumstances and how the cameras not working would (and did) keep me awake at night. 🥴 Even though this is a highly desired, high-rent neighborhood, there’s a lot of crime here due to transient drug addicts who are out of their minds and violent - - - mainly due to our horrible elected officials who are pro-criminal, and anti-victim, which is a huge issue that also infuriates me. 🤦🏼♀️ Regardless, the landlord didn’t care, and they wouldn’t do anything. 😠😖 So I took it upon myself to protect me and the other tenants here and went through the process of going through mediation with the landlord and the City, and that happened about a week ago. It was a really unpleasant mediation because the landlord representative is a total fuckwad, if I may be so blunt. He doesn’t know the law, he’s a whiny baby, and I had to shut him down a few times because he was gaslighting me, to put it mildly. 🤬 FYI, during the mediation, I found out the cameras are working, only because I pressured them to get them reconnected. EVERYONE agrees with me that they intentionally did this --------->>>>>> They had the cameras working for about the last six weeks, BUT DIDN'T BOTHER TO TELL ME!!!!!!!!!! That’s called fucking with your tenant. Shame on them. (Why did Apple remove the middle finger emoji, which would be here if they weren't censoring that gesture❓) Long story short, the mediator sent over an agreement for us to sign but it wasn’t complete based on our 90 minute mediation, so I made the necessary revisions, which the landlord representative wouldn’t agree to, so now we’re going to take this matter to a hearing.😜 In the meantime, I’ve gleaned a lot of information about this matter from one of my neighbors who’s an attorney, and who is also on the landlord’s ass. Yayeeee!!!💯 I have all the faith in the world that this will be resolved to my satisfaction, so that all of us tenants are safer. ☺️ Thanks in advance for sending me your good vibes, friends‼️ 💋💋💋Big huggies‼️ #mylandlordisashitass xo

Above the bed for the CT scanner they have this LED lighting system that twinkles all different colors - although you can’t really tell it’s twinkling all the different colors in my video. :( Twinkle lights are my jam, so this was a nice surprise‼️ I was so very grateful to have an easy test to see what’s going on with my lungs. There were so many people coming in for scans that were handed giant containers of gunk they had to drink pre-testing. I appreciate you more than you know! xoxoxoxoxox My COPD diagnosis of several weeks ago didn't seem right to my primary care doctor, since I've never smoked, plus due to my symptoms, etc. Today I'm going in for a CAT scan of my lungs, with contrast (since I've had cancer), to definitively make sure it's not COPD, nor cancer, and that it's what my doctor thinks it is, asthma, which we already know I have. So as I said in this video, I went to have my physical therapy appointment this morning and I arrived 15 minutes early because I Lyft everywhere and sometimes they pick me up early, or drop me off early. So when I arrived 15 minutes early, I texted my physical therapist and let her know that I was quite early because my Lyft picked me up early. I got a phone call immediately from her telling me that she was locked out of her office and was waiting for a locksmith. She's a solo practitioner so there was no one else that could assist her. I was fine about it. I did a couple errands and throughout, I was wondering if I should ever go back to her because this was the third time we've had to reschedule in a row. Two of the times were because of me!! The first time, I needed to get in,to see my doctor because of all the coughing I was doing and my chest hurting, and my doctor was able to schedule an emergency appointment for the exact time that I was supposed to see my physical therapist. Then the very next week when I was supposed to see my physical therapist the mediation was scheduled with the City to discuss some major issues I'm having with my landlord, and so I had to reschedule for the following week, which was today. I pay attention to what's happening in my life, and do my best to tune in to what the universe might be telling me. Should I even reschedule, because she's not the nicest person to begin with. She's very cold (which is a real issue with me) and she'll do things like not give me my full time that I'm paying for. Like she'll start with me late and say, "don't worry you'll get your full time" and then she won't give me the full time and will stop my physical therapy at the time that would be correct IF she'd started my physical therapy on time. But then . . . Two hours after our appointment was supposed to be take place, she called me and said she wanted to pay the cost of my round-trip Lyft rides because she had to cancel on me last minute after I was actually there at her office. WOW!! So the universe always comes through and sorts everything out for me. That was so very thoughtful of her, and it was really out of character for her. She's definitely redeemed herself with me and I actually get to go in next week. I love love love how this turned out! #itllalwaysbeok xo

The good old USA clearly doesn't care about its citizenry… Everybody has two and three jobs just to make ends me*et - - - not to even be able to get ahead. We're lucky if we get two weeks of vacation. We're lucky if we get sick days. I worked for 50 years, was for*ced into a premature retirement, and can barely make it on my Social Security check. I couldn't be prouder of myself! Long story short, I called to bitch out Spectrum when I got my most recent internet bill which had suddenly gone up $5/month. I got an angel on the phone and she reduced the price of my bill and she let me know about how I could save lots of money on my cell phone if I switched from AT&T, who was great, but now is the worst. They do the same thing… raise the price little by little until it's unaffordable… Plus my cell service in my apartment is horrible because I live in a "dead zone" and the cell booster they sent me about a year ago is sitting in its box because I couldn't get it connected and no one at AT&T would help me!! So I'm free at last - you are officially fired, AT&T! And saving $$$ which I really need. I've never ever had to change out a Sim card in my life and I did it all by myself. :) I had to get my phone unlocked, I had to get a special pin number, I had a lot of hoops to jump through to get this done and I am not that great at following instructions – L O L – and I'm not that great with new tech. The Putin war, financial ruin for many, terrible crime, Covid variants, kids suffering who were home-schooled, mother nature giving us massive trouble, and 6.5 million Covid deaths worldwide, are a few examples --- if you are an entitled person who did NOTHING to help yourself when Covid hit {when many had the time to go deep}, every single new disaster that pops up is devastating you.}}} Those who have done the hard work on themselves during their Covid downtime, and have found meaning - new meaning - deeper meaning - self discovery and self-transformation - - - are the ones who are able to withstand what’s happening and what’s to come. Those who aren't doing any self development are going to have a much harder time. It’s not easy doing this work, but it’s beyond worthwhile.
