I GRADUATE IN 9 DAYS!!!! 👩🏼🎓 As much as I want to take a break I have to go even harder 📚🏋🏼♀️
Today’s circuit:
1. Stability ball jacknife (3x15) : This core exercise does double duty by strengthening the hip flexors and crunching your abs!
2. Jumping Squats (5x5) : Not only will it help add a little spice to an otherwise dull exercise BUT it also helps you increase your cardiovascular demands of the exercise!
3. Hip Thrust With A Barbell (3x10) : Basically if you want to take your bottom to the next level, you need to start doing these! 🍑 (Yes, better than squats) But remember to put a pad around the bar so your hips don’t bruise!

‘Skinny’ CARBONARA 🥬
I’ve had so many messages asking me to post my meals so here it is! 😋 Very quick & easy to make!
📖Ingredients (2 servings):
1 onion
3 rashers of bacon
2 cloves of garlic
2 cups of spinach
1 Cup of peas
1 tbsp of pesto
40g Parmesan cheese
1 egg
2 servings of the pasta of your choice (about 150 grams)
🍽 Method:
1. Chop up the onion and bacon. Throw in a frying pan on medium heat.
-start cooking pasta-
2. Add the remaining ingredients into a blender and blend together. (Three 20 seconds pulses, unless you want smoother then continue blending).
3. Place the blended ingredients into your pan with your cooked pasta & stir together for 3-6 minutes. Add a pinch of salt & pepper for extra taste!

I’ve been adding elevated platforms/weights to my at-home workouts just to add an extra challenge & deeper squat!
Workout:
- Backbends - 15 with pause at the top (squeeze your core!!)
- Kneeling Squat - 3x15 (32lbs)
- Step Up Knee Raises - 4 x 15 on each side

**Today’s Intensity level: Beginner
#1️⃣ Bent over rows: Keep your Knew slightly bent, shoulders square, face forward, & back straight!
#2️⃣ Barbell Hip Thrust: Push your hips as high as you can, always clench you’re butt at the top, & hold your upward thrust sets for 15-30 seconds!
#3️⃣ Wall Sits: Add a few extra lbs on your lap for a deeper quad workout!
#4️⃣ Barbell Kneeling Squat: This is a good warm-up honestly, but really utilize clenching those glutessss 🍑🍑

🔅Each set I take a break and I stretch out my legs. I hate being sore the next day so one day I started intertwining my stretches into certain workouts and it does wonders!

🔅For the purpose of length I’m doing this sped up. I am NOT a runner but I need a warm up before I go to weights. I go sprint-rest intervals.
🔅I start off speed walking for 5 minutes. Then I sprint (speed depends on how lazy I am 🙃) for 3 minutes, rest for 1, sprint for 3, rest for one, and so on until I feel warmed up.
🔅Fun fact: holding your arms above your heart helps you can’t your breath faster 😉
