I was 39 years old
This year we did not travel that much. The only places we visited in 2012 was Clarens, Thabazimbi, Magoebaskloof and Sabie. But this was the year we took nearly twenty thousand photos! So not a wasted year by far. We experimented a lot with more colourful clothes, I wore more pantihose and did a lot more topless posing without feeling too shy. I started to take more chances with posing topless where I could get caught😜.
But this year was momentous for another reason. This is the year I got my implants. It was not a decision taken lightly. We been talking about doing that for nearly three or four years by then. We did thorough research into implant. We evaluated the risks, problems and benefits of having implants. I have to say...it was not a decision taken lightly.
Next week I will post the fist photos of my breasts with the implants.

This was a very long day. We were just going to visit my father-in-law that lives 115 kilometers from us. A drive that is supposed to be 1 hour, on this day took 10 hours! We took a round about way to his place, taking photos along the route. It is amazing what places you can discover close to where you stay to take photos. All you have to do is look around.

During our travels we've had some amazing experiences. On this particular day, we nearly got stuck on muddy obstacles going down the hill. It was nerve wrecking to say the least.
I am working on a photo video where I tell how exciting this day was. Due to more than 12 hours of power outages being the norm in South Africa at the moment, it is taking longer that expected. I will either post it this evening or tomorrow morning. I will be narrating the story, so please don't laugh at my accent😜😂.

I was 38 years old
This year we travelled the most thus far. We had a little 4x4 and we thought we could tackle any road. This led to many close calls, turning around and making our own road through the veld when the road disappeared.
This is also the year we stared experimenting a lot for unique photos. We tried all different types of clothes, different poses, different places and of course we used wigs... The wigs of course was a monumental failure for me. My husband loved it...I hated it. Never did it again!
Because we explored so much, we discovered some amazingly beautiful places. We drove on roads that wasn’t roads any more and hasn’t seen a vehicle in many years. I often had to get our and man handle branches, trees and rocks out of the way. Sometimes it took both of us to clear the road. Sometimes we had to turn around and look for another way to our destination. But it was fun and we enjoyed it very much.

Due to South Africa now experiencing more than 12 hours of power outages daily, I will post todays episode of "Throwback Thursday" a bit late. The power here will be switched of from 8am to 12.30pm. 4.5 hours! My laptop battery will not hold that long. So only after12.30pm will I be able to post.
This is a sample of what is to come. This was taken in 2011 on a low water bridge where the river was running over the bridge. We did try to get here again a few years later, but the road was closed off! Like my mother used to say: "You can never go back".

This was taken at the Lekgalameetse Nature Reserve's waterfall. I tried to get into the waterfall, but it was too deep! I kept on drowning! Ok, not really. The problem with waterfalls is of course the noise of the waterfall. Luckily me and my husband has developed a hand signal system over the years. The moment he shows me a sign, I know what he want me to do. As you can see from the size of my areolas, it was very cold!

Just some bonus photos of the ruins. This was a beautiful mural painted on the walls. This was the best angle we could get for some photos. It was painted in a hallway. Very colorful and I wonder why they did it in a hallway!

This was taken on next to a dirt road, early in the morning, on our way to Sabie. An old farmhouse right next to the road. I love walking around these type of ruins to see what was left behind by the last owners. It is really amazing the things you can find.
On a different note...I so miss my long hair. I have decided to let it grow again. By the end of the year I want it to be as longs as it were in these photos! Let me know what you think about that.

This was taken right next to the Apiesrivier, (Monkey river), in the Groenkloof Nature Reserve. It was proclaimed a game sanctuary by President Paul Kruger on 25 February 1895, 128 years ago. It was the first game sanctuary in Africa. Its main purpose was to protect the shy and timid oribi from hunters. The oribi is a small antelope found in southern Africa. Today the reserve has zebra, blue wildebeest, giraffe and other animals.
The last photo is a family of giraffes that we encountered on the day these photos were taken. It is amazing to just have to drive 10 minutes from home and see all these majestic animals in the bush.

🚗Roadtrips🚘
This was taken on a little dirt road half way between Sabie and Hazyview. We also had a beer at a nice open air pub later that day. I had to take the bartender out of the photo because OF will ban me again.
For the last 3 years we have not done many roadtrips. This year we really want to do more traveling. I really miss the road. I think videos of our roadtrips will be awesome.

I was 37 years old
2010 was our last year in Benoni. The place we were renting became so expensive, we decided to move back to Pretoria. We continued travelling and exploring.
The best thing of this year is that I got out of my “Black Clothes” period😅! We started moving towards more colourful types of clothing. This little purple skirt we bought on a trip to Rustenburg. We just decided we were tired of black clothes. We still used black clothing, but we were slowly moving away from it.

This was early in the morning at Mabalingwe Nature Reserve. We woke up very early to go see if we can see the hippos. We did see them, but they were in the water. We tried to catch them outside the water. It was a cool and crisp morning (as you can see from my scrunched up areolas).

📽️Photoshoot Video 01📽️
I think this is the longest video I've made so far and it was a lot of work. But with the help of my husband, we got it done. The old video editor program kept on crashing, so we changed to an new one. Video editing is not easy, so we spend a lot of time learning the new program, trying to figure things out and watching a lot of YouTube videos.
We took a video of all out photoshoot the other day and this is our first attempt to make a video out of it. Although this one is captioned, I think now that we know the video editing program better, the next video will be narrated by me.
Well, I hope you enjoy the video. I also get caught in this video by workers driving past on a truck! CAUGHT AGAIN😂!
Every now and then my husband will say: "You can play." Then I go through a routine of squeezing and covering my boobs. How this started I don't know. But this sequence is showed in the video...twice. My husband can be a slave driver😉!
