O M G !!! I did something in the shower this evening that I've never done before… And it was so good I wanted to share this tip with you! It's cold in my apartment… I'm trying to save money so don't turn on my heat and bundle up to stay warm. Then I got an email from my shitass landlord arguing with me about the latest issue… How many issues do I have to fight with this dickless jerk? :( Our rent has changed because the citizens of our city voted in November about abolishing the huge rent increase that went into effect on 9/1/22. Our law-breaking landlord received all the information on how much to charge effective 2/1/23, and they need to put notices on everyone's door with that information. In fact, it was due on January 1. But my landlord is a piece of shit and wants to ignore all of this. They put a note on our door a few days ago saying our new rent would be the amount that we were paying before the exorbitant increase went into effect in September. THAT IS INCORRECT!! Because I'm not about to be ripped off by my landlord again, which they tried to do last year, and because I don't trust these guys as far as I can throw them, when this new lowered rent amount was announced last month, I immediately went to the authorities at the City and asked them what my new rent amount was supposed to be and reached out to the landlord and told them they needed to give me a notice with the new rent amount. I had to spend a lot of my time today straightening them out, and in fact I accomplished that, after threatening me they were gonna have their lawyer get involved, blah blah blah. VICTORY!!! Lastly, I got an obvious scam text which was supposedly from one of my financial institutions, saying "your email address has been successfully updated. If you didn't authorize such an update click on this link." OY. I do my best to stay informed and be aware about scams and how horrible criminals reach out to us so that they can steal our identity, etc. So I did not click on the link but I reached out to my financial institution and asked them to confirm that my email had not been changed and that my account was safe. They confirmed an unauthorized party tried to access my account, but my account remained safe. I spent about another 10 minutes on the phone with the representative chatting afterwards because we had so much in common and we had so many complaints about the City and our county and how dangerous it is and she was a soul sister because she too fights the good fight against all the crime that is rampant here because our elected officials are shitasses! So that was really great!!! VICTORY + NEW FRIEND!!! I hope that you take action for all of your obstacles and transform them into victories! #happygirl xo

We connected online and became online friends, and when I went to the next international SeneGence event, a strange woman came up to me - as so many did, who I was usually able to RECOGNIZE - - and she said, "Hey girl, it's so great to see you and to finally me*et you in person!!!!!" I didn't know who the fuck this woman was. You guessed it, it was this one particular chick who totally doctored all of her content so that she looked completely different. I could NOT place her until she told me her name. My brain eventually stopped melting from being so confused. Being CURIOUS = being interested in OTHERS. It's not all about you!! I learned really quickly about being curious when I was in therapy at the Ra*pe Treatment Center with probably the best therapist I've ever had. I would say something or she would say something and instead of just moving on to the next thing, she would say, "Well let's get curious about that." And we would explore either what she said or what I said, drilling down until I had incredible clarity, and was able to change something for the positive. I love the concept of being curious. I realize I've been a curious person most of my life, and it's gotten me very very far in life, and I don't mean superficially. I'm talking about where it COUNTS… About being respected, being effective in my endeavors, and having a victorious life, despite any unfavorable circumstances. One of my biggest pet peeves about people is when everything is about THEM. They have zero curiosity. In fact they have such minimal curiosity, if any, that they won't take the time to finish reading a text you send, or fully listen to your voice message/voicemail. That is so insulting to me, as if what I'm texting or voice messaging them isn't worth reading or listening to. Everybody - including me - is fucking busy!!!! But these entitled, self-absorbed types prove to me that they will never achieve victory/peace/true happiness in their life if they continue with their current, thoughtless behavior. Focusing on what's right in front of you is so important. BE HERE NOW. BE IN YOUR BODY. Stop being so DISTRACTED and using that as an excuse for not responding to your friends. It's rude to not respond to someone, and goes hand-in-hand with not being curious. These people feel entitled, they have little compassion, and don't have a clue about how to live life successfully.
